Region of Waterloo Museums’ Summer Day Camps will begin July 6 and will operate from Schneider Haus National Historic Site. All camps will comply with Provincial and Public Health guidelines that ensure a safe experience for all campers. A limited number of Summer Day Camps are now available for purchase. “Campers will experience a week of fun-filled outdoor and indoor activities. Let your child take part in an engaging and immersive week of heritage-based art and STEM challenges, games and gardening. The health and safety of campers and staff is of paramount importance and protocols have been put in place in adherence with the guidelines established by the Province of Ontario, including campers being divided into separate cohorts of 8 children, physical distancing and facility cleaning,” said Helen Chimirri-Russell, Director of Cultural Services for the Region of Waterloo.
Campers should come prepared with a nut-free lunch, and water bottle. Space is limited. $210 (including tax). No cancellations or refunds. Please note that camp runs from Monday to Friday. Drop off-time is between 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and pick up time is 5 p.m. Before/After camp care is not available.
